[Troubleshooting] Internet connection all over the place

Well I got a new modem yesterday and my speeds went from ~30mb to ~170mb so that's really awesome. The problem is I can't use it because it literally cuts out every 5 minutes. Any idea as to why this might be? Thanks in advance for any help
