Would it be okay to use photos I've taken in the classroom on my resume?

I'm wanting to vamp up my resume and make it really visually appealing, but a lot of these modern designs have a picture of one's self on the resume. To me, that's just a bit too self-indulged for my liking, so I was thinking of putting pictures of my students' projects and what-not. I know that students signed a waiver at the beginning of the school year, but I didn't know if it was illegal of me to use the photos I've taken in this manner?
