Getting into muni, need advice on setup

So I started unicycling several years ago and currently have a nimbus uni with a 20" x 2.5" creepy crawler tire. I've recently started taking it on a few trails and am loving the idea of muni. I haven't had too much trouble with the small wheel but I noticed that most ride a 26" for the more difficult and technical rides that I'm interested in (live in the foothills of CO). I guess my question is would it be worth it to try and upgrade to a 26" with perhaps a less beefy tire? I have never tried a larger wheel so I just don't know what sort of difference it makes. Also from what I see on craigslist it looks like it may be difficult to sell my nimbus for much cash. I am still semi-interested in learning a few tricks/trials riding as well but I assume that would be doable on a 26" as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
