Best irons for SBR?

I currently have a set of TROY sights on my 10.5 SBR that look like this

I am not an expert shooter, and I cant hit shit with the irons or even get them zerod with 10 rounds. I find that the rear sight is "hole" is too large, the "long distance" setting is much better, but you cant fold the sights down in that setting

With my Trijicon MRO I can obviously hit anything

Am I being crazy, or is the short sight radius the problem? Is there any better irons with a very small hole at the back?
