Have some questions about hunting coyote on private land in Illinois.

A friend from church has some coyote problems on his land, I was gonna get a non resident hunter license (i live in Indiana and you can hunt coyote year round) to take care of it for him. I wanted to keep the hide but I'm not 100% sure what to do with the dog after I get it. The taxidermy place isn't open until the next day. Do I throw it in a freezer or something? Any help would be great
