Question about luck build/ hollowing

If I cured the curse on a character will a luck build become no longer viable? Been getting bled a lot and decided I wanted to try it out, but 2 out of my 3 characters aren't hollow, and I've read that your hollowing and luck have impact on your hollow infused weapons
