pfSense not recognizing Intel Pro1000 PT dual port

I bought a dell optiplex 320 from a friend and an Intel PRO/1000 PT dual port card from ebay. The lights on the card come on when I power on the machine, but once I install pfSense it doesn't recognize the ports when I do auto link detection for WAN. It used to just say no link detected. I reinstalled a time or two and now when it does an autodetect, there is an error. It says Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /etc/inc/console.something on line 499. I don't remember the extension on the file right now. After that error it also says no link detected.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I can try the card in another machine and see if it will work, but it is not powerful enough and does not have enough ram for my needs. I also have no reason to believe the card is bad as the it was from an extremely high rated seller with a 30 day return policy. The lights also come on so it isn't dead. The machine shouldn't be bad either since it used to have a gpu in the PCIe slot and it worked fine.
