On the topic of Sugar babies/FinDom: Is it actually just exploitation?

Trying to understand this. I see people come on FL and other sites looking for this and saying it's their "kink" and I have a hard time buying it. What I do think it really comes down to is someone who finds out that there are people out there willing enough to do this and just exploit it. I don't see anything "kinky" about it other than the fetishization of the worst aspects of capitalism: exploitation of human by human.

Whenever I ask someone who's "into" that why they immediately get defensive. I'm not trying to shame anyone I just don't think they're seeking actual connection rather than just trying to get free shit from people. I guess I just have a hard time seeing where that fits in anywhere.
