Question about a death scene

Spoilers

So this is about Zara's death, when she was eaten by the giant water dinosaur, the mosasaurus I think it was called. I saw the movie in theaters, and then saw it again on HBO recently, and when her death scene came about, it wasn't how I remembered it.

I had a memory of Zara being dropped into the water, then my next memory was of her on the mososaurus' tongue (I don't remember how she got there), on her hands and knees, beginning to look and reach toward the sky, only to have the dinosaur slam its mouth shut on her. When I watched the film on HBO, instead of seeing that, I saw a pterodactyl (or similar, forget the exact name) being eaten along with her, completely obscuring Zara inside the mouth of the mososaurus. Googling, trying to see images of what I remember, or even references to a change for home versions has turned up nothing at all, leading me to wonder...

Did I completely imagine that whole death scene...am I remembering a similar scene from some other movie that somehow meshed with this one, or am I actually just unable to find any info on the fact that the scene was changed from theatrical to home video? Thanks for any info you can shed!
