I have a dream about a open, transparent and inclusive e-sports organization that will contribute to progress of e-sports, possibly world-wide. By the players, for the players.
I think WESA has some really good ideas about improving e-sports (which many people even critics seem to agree with), but they cannot seem to put them into practice, since they are already doing the opposite in some aspects. I was wondering if someone can make it happen. Someone like us "ordinary" good-hearted people who step up and take responsibility for what they care about and what makes them happy to contribute to. I know this community is known for a lot of toxic people, cheaters, scammers and other people that don't contribute to any positive development, but I wanted to atleast try to start a discussion about this and see how it goes, what your opinions are, etc. We will be the people who strive to be the good force to balance out the power of financial interests, power saturation and few people gaining something at the expense of many others for example. I am not saying it is going to be easy, but it is going to be worth it. There will be ups and downs, but if we never try, we will never know what positive impact we could have had. It is not going to happen all by itself. The good ideas like openness, inclusion and to create an authentic framework to support and amplify sustainable growth of esports, based on the shared values of fairness, transparency, and integrity and sharing that growth between everyone affected, even if they didnt contribute in any way. But enough nicely sounding words said. Let's make it happen!
