Protobelt on Aurelion Sol : Yes or No

Hello there fellow summoners, as a humble silver player i have a question. Over the last few days i have been testing the new items on Aurelion.

IMHO Protobelt is a neat item on Aurelion since it allows you to push forward and surprise your opponent with your actived W that was out of range a moment ago.

I usually go Protobelt > Rylais > Abyssal > Zhonyas > Ludens or Rabadons.

What i found tough , is that i severly lack mana with this build.

My question now is: Is it a good idea to rush Protobelt on Aurelion, and if so, what item could i switch out to have a little bit more mana? RoA seems to late to build as a second item. Rylais also seems to be somewhat of a must have items, the sooner the better but not as the first one. And Athenes/Tear dont really convince me.
