Art on Campus

Have any art students or students in general out there thought of approaching the school about allowing students to create murals on empty boring walls around campus. My city has this thing where students designed a mural and put those murals on doors...it really brightened up downtown. What do you all think? This comes to mind because I feel like I've been experiencing more art around campus these past few weeks.
