Building my first guitar

This text is a bit longer than i intended am im sorry for my rather poor english, but hopefully you can bear with me. Im 17 years old and am done with school next year. Since i dont know what to do i want to give luthierie (luthierism? idk im from germany) a try. Im planning to build a V that i based heavily on the Signature Dean Dave Mustaine V which i have slightly modified and already had a template cnc'd from a local woodworker (for free yay!). Im only playing the guitar for about a year again, although i played for 3 years when i was around 5/6. I have a LTD TE-406 and i love the EMGs so i wanted them to in my project aswell. I heard the GH Sig. set and i love the sound. I was thinking if it is possible to not only have the volume pot which splits the 89R (i think), but also get a second push pull pot for tone to switch between the pups. I also planning to use a schaller lockmeister, am i going to need a break angle if i recess the trem? Ill probably use a deep set neck. The last thing will be in german because only germans will be able to answer it.

tl;dr am i able to use a push pull pot to switch between pups, do i need a break angle if my trem is recessed and for germans what the best source for wood is
