I would like to populate an excel file automatically with input from some sort of form filled in by students.

I'm a teacher looking to use more IT in the classroom to lighten my workload and get the children more familiar with technology.

The ideal situation for this is that I could create a form (dozens of different ones throughout the year for various assignments) and the children save the form which transfers the data to an excel spreadsheet, with each row containing the input from a different pupil. Obviously this would then allow me to mark certain types of answers automatically.

The limitations are the fact that I don't know much VBA myself, and it would have to work on school computers which I do not have admin rights to (though I can put files onto the network). The children ideally shouldn't be able to access the excel spreadsheet, though it's not the end of the world if they can. The process of saving the file can't be too complex either, as children with limited computer experience would be doing that.
