Grateful for my daughter and granddaughter during grief over the loss of my mom.

Sorry for a sad post, but I truly am so grateful. My mom died March 29th, she was 86 and had a long, fulfilling life. My granddaughter is 1 year old, and she lives only an hour away. She is the light of my life, and her mom, my daughter, is my best friend. I am so very fortunate to have so much love available to me, to have so many other supportive family members, and just for all the blessings I have in my life right now. I am so glad I'm grateful, and hope I always remember to see everything as a blessing, and to not take these blessings for granted. I'm grateful my mother raised me to be a thoughtful, caring person. I was so lucky to have her for my mom.
