It started like a normal invasion, I spawned in at the high wall, Spear in one hand and shield in the other. I went on the hunt but alas, I could not find them.

I searched high and low, on balconies and towers, They were nowhere to be seen. I added them on steam. (The following is our conversation) Stu: where are you?

Stu: i cant see you?

SKARM64: Where are you? I'm at second bonfire

Stu: yeah man, me too

Stu: i've been running around for ages haha

SKARM64: I'm literally on second bonfire now

Stu: dude, me too

Stu: im lagging pretty badly though

Stu: shitty internet connection

SKARM64: Do the honorable thing and off yourself

Stu: haha - ill give it a sec longer

Stu: honor is worth the wait

SKARM64: I just want my pale tongue

Stu: ah, go on then

SKARM64: Naw I think you should go die to the knight downstairs

The words appeared HOST OF EMBERS DESTROYED I got my Pale Tongue but there was no honor in it, I had lost a dearest friend and I wish to dedicate this post to them.

tl:dr I got a free pale tongue because a nice man on steam killed himself because we couldn't see each other.
