7-8mo old puppy falling back on her potty training?

I have a 7/8 month old Malshi who was potty trained to use a potty pad in the kitchen. For the most part she was great at it. Only times she would mess would be if everyone was at work for 8+ hours and in which case we couldn't blame her.

About 3 weeks ago she seemed to have made huge leaps and started having full bladder control for very long hours. Even held her BM 98% of the time.

Suddenly the past 5 days she's been going nonstop in her cage and not even trying to control it. She's not even barking to tell us. Now this morning, TWICE, she peed on a rug while starring right at us with full access to her potty.

Does anyone know what this is about? Thanks
