Ｓａｄ Ｃｈａｓｅｙ － Ｇｅｔ ｔｏ ｋｎｏｗ ｔｈｅ Ａｒｔｉｓｔ

Hello everyone. I am Sad Chasey. I've been an active Vaporwave artist since the fall of 2015. Some of you may have seen my work floating around here from time to time. First of all, I will tell you what's in a name. I work for a millionaire named Chad Stacy. He is the definition of corporate success. When I discovered vaporwave, it became so clear to me that the title of my project should be a play on his name: Chad Stacy= Sad Chasey. My audio sources range from 80's to early 90's music, and in the case of a couple of them, even late 70's. Each song I make is made up of splices of 3 songs or more, with the exception of one song only having 2 sources. Each song I make is coupled with a meticulously edited video, synced up and glitched out to the beat. Some have heavier edits than others, it all depends on the feel of the song. I make the music and the videos simultaneously, which renders a slow production time, but the end result is always pleasing and worth the wait. I have 8 out of 12 songs completed. In the near future, I will be releasing my first album in a limited quantity of 88 cassettes, and 20 VHS tapes. I've pondered doing a vinyl release, but it seems inappropriate for Vaporwave in my opinion. I also do a fair amount of image editing for aesthetic pleasure. Side note, if anyone was into UMVC3 combo videos by residentevilrulz (Red Man), that is me. Below, I will have all of my media outlets listed for you to check out. Feedback is appreciated. I've been at this for awhile without much feedback or anything like that, but my will and determination to finish this project is strong. It's more of a personal thing for me than gaining notoriety, but that would be a nice plus.
