Need your advice reddit

A friend of mine (who I've known for the past 10-15 years) is leaving for good. We were supposed to meet up today to say our farewells then he pretty much slaughtered me on whatsapp for no real reason. He ended up saying I was as good as a facebook friend and alot of other shit (deleted the group after I wished for him to have a safe trip etc..) but despite that I'm not sure if I shouldn't go anyway and say goodbye. What do you guys think?
