In a hypothetical conflict between China and India, whose navy would come out on top?

Hello everyone. Today I was in a discussion concerning the current geopolitical relations of India and China, and it brought a question to my mind- if the two countries were to engage in total war, who would come out on top? Both nations are similarly large in population and are growing economies with decent militaries, so it really rose a question of who would likely come out on top, barring nuclear weapons. Since I'm not that informed in either of their arsenals, I decided to come see if anyone more knowledgable than I would have a better idea of how a conflict, particularly at sea, would play out.
