Sales Dashboard+Sales by Child Item report

Hi all,

I'm trying to identify how many sales (units and dollar amount) I have for a particular item per day, over the range of X many days. For example, I'd like to know how many sales in units and sales amounts of Garlic Presses I did each day for the past month, with a row for each day.

The Sales Dashboard tells me the number of units and amounts per day, but unfortunately only by product category. On the other hand, the Sales by Child Item report does show amounts per item, but only an aggregate total for a date range. Am I overlooking a report somewhere that caters to this need?

Note, the Sales data is needed - not data on Fulfilled Orders.
