OnePlus One not showing all files when plugged into PC?

So I wanted to back up my One today. I have developer options enabled and selected FTP like usual. Only thing is, some folders show up empty when I view the directory on my computer. Important ones like my pictures and podcasts are empty. Also, my music folder which has some folders organized by artist and other miscellaneous MP3's just loose in the folder is only showing the subfolders for the various artists and not the individual mp3's down below them. Does anyone here know what is going on?
