Ipad Newb here. Is there any reason a 1st gen. ipad would have trouble with Netflix?

I have my laptop hooked up to a bunch of cords on my desk, and it's a bit annoying to have to undo everything everytime I want to hop up on my bed and just watch netflix. I was looking on craigslist for Ipads, and a handful of people are selling 1st gen. ones for dirt cheap. I literally just want it for netflix. Would a first gen. ipad suffice for this reason? Probably an idiotic question, but idk if Netflix's bandwith requirements or processing requirements would need more ghz. I'm really just spouting tech babble, I am tech illiterate. :) Gracias de antemano!
