Shouldn't Arena's matchmaking algorithm take total Arena wins into consideration?
I'm an experienced Arena player myself, and today at 0/0 I was matched with a guy who was pathetically bad. His card drafts and the way he played made it completely obvious he couldn't have been playing Hearthstone for more than a few days.
Obviously this wasn't his fault, but the game's fault for allowing this guy to get matched with someone who has been playing Arena since beta and has thousands of total wins in it. So shouldn't the matchmaking system take those wins into consideration when matching people, instead of just solely relying on the current wins/losses?
I'm aware that this could create problems when someone hops to a different server and creates a smurf, but this could be avoided by having the system take count of the account's arena wins across all regions.
Just a few thoughts.
