Will this bike work?

I woke up one day and there was a very nice large frame Trex commuter with adjustable shocks in my front yard. I put up ads but it was never claimed. The only issue is that it is a woman's model and I am a guy. I have been riding it for a few years and it's really isn't that different except for the top tube. Would that Trex Aluminum be a good donor for a 500w BBS02 conversion?
