Got to love those rewards members part 2

So this guy checks in and as I'm going through the spiel and just confirming that he knows about the wifi this starts to happen.

Me: Do you know everything about breakfast and wifi for here?

Guest: Top tier rewards members get free premium internet right?

Me: Some of the hotels have that but our system doesn't have that yet I'm pretty sure. (I had another guest bring this up a couple of months ago and we had to manually take it out for the guy)

Guest: Nope, they all have it. Look at the snowflake rewards list, it says we get free premium wifi

I look it up but continue checking him in

Me: Well if you'd like to just check, you can stop by and check with the manager to make sure that it was taken off -"

Guest: Nope it should be done automatically!

I finish checking the guy in and was looking through the snowflake rewards list and it stated something along the lines of "Premium speed internet may not be available at all hotels"

I called the guy's room just to make sure he didn't purchase the premium speed internet and raise a stink about it on the back end.

Me: Sir, I looked up the perks and it says blah blah

Guest: No! It means that not all of them may have premium internet but if they do we get it. This is the third time I've had front desk staff argue with me about this and the second time someone's told me that they don't have the wifi on their property. I want you to let your manager know exactly how happy I am that you are giving me this much trouble over $3 worth the internet.

Me internally: Yes, I'm the issue even though you've heard the same thing from multiple people and choose to get upset over it. Also its $5 worth the internet but despite the fact that this seems like a small amount of money to you, you're equally giving me this much trouble for it.

Manager comes in and talks to him and also explains to him that the internet isn't set up for that yet here but gives him points to shut him up. Looks up the guy, 49 complaints and recoveries at other hotel of the same brand. But nope the front desk is the problem for sure.

I will admit that I probably should have dropped it when I could have but he was definitely going to complain regardless.

TLDR: Special snowflake complains about something my hotel doesn't have set
