Worth staying on 3.18 at this point?

I bought a 3.18 PS Vita, got TN-V11 running on it and it's great, however I can't play Steins;Gate (needs 3.50), which has been one of the reasons I bought the vita in the first place.

I'm not interested in PSX emulation or homebrews, but I love however having PSP backups in my custom bubble. Do you think it is worth staying on 3.18 at this point, or can I freely update to 3.50 in order to play games released post-3.18, since I found out it is possible now to create custom bubbles on 3.50 using the same PSP demo game I already have?

Is there still any hope for keeping 3.18 for the webkit exploit?
