Tried to remove braces with pliers, brackets stuck on teeth

first of all, that was extremely stupid. Now that it's been acknowledged, I was wondering how to have the metal removed from 2 teeth. What the problem is is not that the whole bracket stuck, but only a thin layer of metal, the very back of the bracket.

Would it be as simple as going to an orthodontist?
