(Spoilers Everything) Old Nan and the story of The Long Night

Any evidence to support us getting Ice Spiders when the Others come in the books or in the show?

I've tried to find evidence but it just sounds like the Ice Spiders are a part of the story, if that makes sense? (super tired, its incredibly early haha)

I wan't to know what this sub thinks about them, and if people think they will ever actually show up, in the books or show? I imagine the CG for huge spiders being pretty expensive. I think it would be badass if the whitewalkers rolled in with massive spiders but I also think that it probably won't happen and its just a false part of the story of the Long Night. I also don't know if its something GRRM would do.

This is really poorly worded I know, again its really early haha.
