I'll be moving to Kamloops in the next 6 months...

I've been to Kamloops a few times for a day or two but never really spent much time there so I've got a couple of questions.

I'm a big sushi fan. There seems to be a decent amount of Japanese restaurants in Kamloops. Which ones do you recommend?

What's the music scene like? I've been playing guitar for years. It's been a long time since I've been in a band or had people to play with and that's something I'd really like to get back into.

I'm not huge into working out but I like to walk. Are there decent trail systems close to the city?

I'm really looking forward to moving to Kamloops. I was born in BC and spent most of my life there but I've been out on the East coast for that last few years. Let's just say I not a huge fan of 6 month winters.

Other than that, what's cool in the city? What you guys do for fun?
