Getting rounded

Most of the time I am good at coming out for 1v1 and getting the ball.

Today's match a winger passed a through ball beating our defense, our centerback was on a race and slide but missed the ball and the striker was 1v1 with the ball at his feet.

I stood my ground and when he took his final touch got big but he rounded me and slotted home.

How can I prevent this? The ball wasn't 50-50 more at the strikers possession and. The through ball was originally covered at the edge of the 18 by my centerback who got beaten.
