Not sure how to interpret 9/11 experience

I was in sixth grade when 9/11 happened. I know this is going to sound crazy, but I had a dream the night before it happened: I saw at least one sky scraper that had smoke coming out of it. I forgot about the dream in the morning. When I got to school, our teacher told us that something terrible had happened in NY; that planes had crashed into the World Trade Center. I hadn't heard of the building before, but I remember saying to someone, "oh yeah, didn't that happen last night?" I remember being confused when they said it had happened that morning, because I could have sworn that it was on the news the night before. Then I remembered seeing the smoking building in my dream. I didn't ever tell anyone except for my parents several years later because even as a TBM I didn't know what to make of it.

I would say I'm agnostic/atheistic now, but I'm not sure what to make of this experience. One idea was that maybe somehow the satellite broadcasting the coverage had somehow showed up in my dream; does anyone know if that is a real thing? Or has something similar happened to anyone?
