I disabled wireless on my router but the indicator light still flashes. Is it really off?
I'm a newbie. I have a DLINK DIR-601 router. Even with my lenghty reassurances, my mom is still worried about wifi 'radiation' so I promised to turn off wireless -- anyway, I use it exclusively with cables. But even after un-checking the 'Enable wireless' checkbox in my router setup, the wireless indicator light still blinks. So is it still emitting a wifi signal? If so, any other steps to disable that? Thanks!
