I have 50 BLT and need a pistol, would you recommend the Hunter's one or Repeating one?

After upgrading the Evelyn to +9, I suddenly realize, with Simon's Bow and 50 BLT, I would barely use the Pistol for damage. And point-blank parrying is more important than I thought. Since Evelyn have a serious accuracy problem at pointblank, I have to choose between the Hunter's Pistol or the Repeating Pistol.

I was wondering, which one is generally more popular? It seems to me, with 50 BLT, using the Hunter's Pistol is kind-of a waste... But is the damage for repeating pistol important? I feel like there are some scenarios I found myself spamming shots, hoping for a ranged parry...

Also, if I have a 50/50 SKL/BLT build, would most SKL weapons be viable for me? I mean like the Blade of Mercy and Burial Blade, do they scale a lot with arcane?
