Using feldspar as grog... is my experiment doomed?

I am VERY new to pottery. I wanted to experiment with adding a grog to the clay, so I added some of this http://imgur.com/H1Z74QF.

Turns out it's not sand it's feldspar.

Will my pots explode or something when I fire them?

BTW just I am so new to pottery that I have never fired anything yet....
