Temporary Summer Bike Parking Location?

I'm going home for two weeks and want to leave my bike on (or near) campus. I've always parked in front of my dorm, but bikes on those racks are being impounded from the 20th - 27th. I use a U-lock and steel rope (through both wheels) and will take my seat with me.

Is there a good place to lock it up while I'm gone? is it OK to do this?
