How good is overdrive teleport in xyz monarchs in locals if majority of players don't run any hand traps or solemn strike?

So about to play at a school tourament soon and using overdrive teleport seems kind of fun to me and most of the competition are running either kozmos or domain monarchs (no burning abyss players). So would overdrive teleport be any good or should I just main majesty's fiend instead?
