Hey guys! Any good advice for playing doubles?

I'm in challenger 2, and I gotta say, it really is a challenge.

Recently I've noticed that I've been having a really hard time playing ranked matches. 3 out of 4 times my teammate will vote to give up, even when there are 4 minutes left on the clock. Sometimes they'll rage quit if we're getting destroyed. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a bad player, but it's becoming pretty apparent that I could do a lot better. Far too many people are getting upset with me.

I've come here to ask some of the more skilled players what I could do to improve. I already know some of the basics such as staying back when my teammate has the ball, setting it up over the goal for a shot, and getting into position so we can clear it. Anyone have some good tips for a scrub like me?
