[modifications] Das keyboard 4c modifications

I'm looking to get a Das keyboard 4c ultimate, and replace the switches with some gateron blues, and since I'm going to be soldering, I was wondering if it would be possible to solder in a female usb port to have a removable usb cable, as the switches and cable are the 2 things that I don't really like about the 4c. And if it is, any good places to buy a female usb port?
