Rural dwellers of r/teenagers

How do you make life there exciting? I went on a train from California to Georgia and I passed a lot of states as you might guess, to name some that stuck out Colorado Texas New Mexico Kansas, they all had little towns that were mostly stretches of land for miles and then a Dairy Queen or supermarket and then more stretches of land. I live in an underdeveloped California town.
