My setup for solo JMT this August

Hello! I'm solo hiking northbound the full John Muir Trail this summer starting at Mt. Whitney and exiting at Happy Isles. Awesomely, the Whitney multi-day permit works for a JMT through. Acclimation will be rough but I'm up for it.

This is the gear I'll be taking and its a pretty luxurious list which I'm perfectly fine with. I own everything here along with a MLD solo tarp/nettent set up and a Gatewood Cape/MLD bivy combo.

For this trip I'm all about the comfortable, less spartan, my line of thinking being that there's less chance of malfunction and more enjoyment of the gorgeous surroundings I'll be in. Also, I'll be fishing much of the way and super excited about that.

While I'm pretty set on bringing everything on the list (the 1oz. deodorant is an acceptable weight hit) I'm open to suggestions/critiques/high fives.
