Vintage shaving yard sale haul / my first venture into classic shaving

I've been interested in giving the old-style safety razor shaving a try but I didn't want to sink a ton of money into it before I knew it was for me. So for months and months I've been on the lookout for a modestly priced safety razor when I visit thrift stores and yard sales. Yesterday I was at a community yard sale and I happened upon a nice lode! I grabbed the gold Star for 25¢ and everything else for a $20.

Now I'm trying to sort out what I've got. I'll ask my questions individually in the thread.
