[TOMT][Movie] Looking for a certain samurai / fantasy movie

Good evening gentlemen,

Looking for a specific samurai / maybe fantasy movie. All I know of it is that there is a scene, likely the beginning of the movie where a single samurai slices down many, many others on an empty field that is entirely filled with fog (smoke? Maybe the ground was suggesting a swamp / desertlike area, you really can't see anything other than the fog it's really stylized). There were definitly unrealisticly long / high jumps, cool posing etc. which makes me think it may has fantasy elements.

The whole visualization is really stylized with the fog and blood, almost making it look black and white + red with the spilling blood.

The movie likely came out around 2010, +/- 4-5 years, visuals were really well done.

Don't know anything about story, sorry to say, I've seen the scene above for about a half minute when my father started watching the movie (than later saying it was bad and he deleted it, knowing his taste of movies it could still be cool with me, but he just doesn't remember it or the scene I describe at all).
