Where would I begin learning Arabic?

I have recently become very interested in the history of Arabia and the arabic people, and would love to learn more about their fascinating language.

However, I am completely lost on where to start the learning process. In Don't mind spending a little money but i would like to keep spending relatively low as i am saving currently.

What would you recommend for an absolute beginner?
