Third time's a charm

Codrum is in the garage, putting together his new robot kit after the recent disappearance of W.I.L.L.I.A.M. The new robot was a light grey with lilac blue highlights and stood slightly shorter than the previous two models, likely because Codrum had lost a few pieces during construction.

After tinkering with the droid for a few hours, a shorter time than his previous two bots thanks to a complete robot kit this time, he felt it time to flick the switch

he flicks the switch and the robot boots to life, its black visor switching to a bright blue colour as it slowly took a more lifelike posture

it begins to speak in a basic robotic voice

//[SYSTEM BOOT]//

//[LOADING OPERATING SYSTEM]//

//[ACQUIRING PERSONALITY MATRIX]//

its visor flashes on and off rapidly for a few seconds and then its voice changes to a soft British girl

"Good afternoon sir, request designation"

"Huh, female. Didn't expect that... guess it explains the colour... um... designation K.A.T.E"

"Designation accepted, although I would prefer Catherine."

"Where have I heard that before... Anyway K.A.T.E... welcome to Red Team..."
