Is it OK to get a Tetanus Shot 4 months apart?

I was traveling in January and had an accident which left me with a deep cut on my arm. I got a Tetanus shot as a precaution, but it was not documented anywhere. Now I need to have an updated Tdap vaccine to be able to attend clinicals for my school. Is it safe to have another Tetanus booster only months apart?
