Thoughts on an SSD used for gaming.
So currently I already have a pretty good computer I built about a year and a half ago and I didn't put an SSD in it. I pretty much only use the computer for school and heavy gaming. I was curious what SSD would be good to put in it. Yes I realize with this kind of pc there should have been an SSD to begin with.
My current pc specs are:
- CPU:Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
- CPU Cooler:Antec KUHLER H2O 1250 98.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- Motherboard:Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK2 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
- Memory: Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
- Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
- Storage:Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Video Card:Asus GeForce GTX 980 4GB STRIX Video Card
- Case:Antec P100 ATX Mid Tower Case
- Power Supply:Antec HCG M 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
- Optical Drive:Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer
- Operating System:Microsoft Windows 10 (OEM) (64-bit)
Again I mostly use this pc for gaming!
