First poem I have ever written.

In hopes she'll find
love that's increasingly kind
A bandage to wrap her scars.

A feeling so pure
Avoids her for sure
As she is lost among the stars.

With skin like snow
Such a radiant glow
an angel in disguise.

Now that my sun has set
I will never forget
Angels are capable of lies.

Valhalla-Vanguard inspired me earlier with his poem "Escapism". I've never really written poetry before but I have been going through some deep depression and it was nice to find this sub and kind of let loose, as basic and amateur as this poem is.
