Thoughts

You close your eyes
see a simpler world.
Where friends don't treat friends
like enemies.
Where lovers don't treat lovers
like monsters sent for the single purpose
of destruction.

I wish the world could get along.
See,
I know it isn't that simple.
It isn't as simple as what John Lennon says.
I just wish people could see the light in eachothers eyes.
I wish,
we saw the godly heaven existing in one another's pupils.

I'm just ranting, I know,
but what if rants are more
than we make them out to be?
What if the biggest,
most life changing ideas
start with a simple rant?

This poem is a tad bit dumb, written in 3 mins 42 seconds (i like to time my poems) and a bit ranty, but were some things i wanted to get off my chest. I hope everyone enjoys!
