Wuxiaworld keeps crashing and reloading

Others

I am on my Ipad and whenever I am reading stuff on wuxiaworld the page constantly crashes and reloads every 10-50 seconds. I stop the page from fully loading but it does not help at all. Anyone else having this issue or have any solutions?

Yeah the redirect ads are back for me as well. The solution is to pause the site right after the text loads.

I recommend using the adblock browser (if you have an android). I don't risk getting ads on my phone since they all eat up data.

Yeah I've noticed a change recently that even though I press the X to stop the page from loading. It still loads ads for some reason. Sucks when I'm trying to browse on my phone with data.

Lol, I found that turning off my wifi helps a lot.

Wait... turning off wifi when you don't want to use data?

No, just to stop ads from loading further. But I do this from my laptop.

o.o.o.O that's genius and uhh, hard to do with an ethernet cable that doesn't plug in well :P

Some of the ADs are Java based. I'm not familiar with iOS at all (PC/Android supremacy lol) but is there a way to disable Java? Or, unfortunately, download an AD-Block capable mobile browser like I did on my phone to browse WW and Gravity (though to be fair Gravity cleaned their ADs up quite nicely).

Yeah it is looking like I would have to do that and I really don't want to do so if only one website is giving me trouble. =(

Disable JavaScript. It prevents redirects on mobile. Also lowers battery usage.

o.O have you updated to the latest operating system/cleared cache? It might be the old ads coming back up.

For iOS users, I recommend putting airplane mode on once the page loads so that it stops any redirects from happening! Trust me.

Also as a certified apple technician, let me give you this quick tip

as long as you have iOS 8 or more

Settings > Safari > Block Pop-ups (on)

Cookies > Always block

Go to advanced > javascript > Off

Thanks! Will try that!
